Mizuco didn't start in a boardroom; it started in our bathroom.
It all began when my wife, Angie, came to me frustrated. Day after day, no matter what rich moisturizers or high-end hair serums she used, her skin felt constantly tight and prone to acne, and her hair felt weighed down and lifeless.
The hidden culprit wasn't her beauty routine—it was the hard water flowing through our shower head.
Unfiltered tap water can be loaded with heavy metals, sediment, and harsh minerals that strip away your skin's natural moisture and damage hair over time.
Determined to find a solution, we searched everywhere for a good filtered shower head at a reasonable price. But we quickly hit a wall.
The options fell into two frustrating extremes.
Overpriced Luxury Brands
Shower heads pushing anywhere from $50 to well over $100—asking a premium price for what should be a simple, everyday home necessity.
Cheap & Ineffective Gimmicks
Low-end plastic options under $20 that barely filtered anything at all and killed water pressure instantly.
We knew there had to be a sweet spot: real, effective filtration and modern design at a fair, accessible price point.
