How to Install Your Mizuco Showerhead

Every Mizuco showerhead ships with the rubber sealing ring included by default — the simple mechanism that gives you a secure, leak-free connection without needing to track down a specific adapter or thread size.
Remove the old mount, wrap the threads
Take off your existing shower mount and wrap the included Teflon tape around the faucet threads.
Insert the mount and tighten
Hand-tighten the new mount into the faucet, then secure it firmly with a wrench.
Connect the hose to the mount
Attach your shower hose to the mount — the included rubber ring is already in place to prevent leaks.
Lock the showerhead onto the hose
Pull the Mizuco showerhead onto the hose end until it clicks into place.
Installation questions
It's leaking at the connection — what do I do?
Almost always the washer. Make sure the included rubber ring is seated flat at the connection, hand-tighten the fitting firmly without cross-threading, and add plumber's (PTFE) tape to the mount threads if it's still dripping.
Will this fit my shower?
Yes — Mizuco ships with the rubber sealing ring included by default, which gives a secure fit on virtually any standard shower hose without needing a specific adapter.
How do I know it's fully installed?
The mount should be hand-tight plus a firm quarter-turn with a wrench (snug, not over-tightened), and the showerhead should click into place on the hose with no wiggle. Run the water for 30 seconds and check the connection points for drips.
